Fratelli's is an Italian restaurant in the village of Ponteland, north of Newcastle upon Tyne, a couple of miles
away from the airport. It is popular with people of all ages. They welcome children and provide a friendly,
efficient service.
For a wheelchair user, it has access via a lift from the ground floor entrance and the bar and dining area is level access,
with ramps to raised areas. There is an accessible toilet with a RADAR lock.
There is no dedicated parking for the restaurant, although parking is available in the car park for Sainsburys, which
is located below the restaurant. There are four designated disabled parking bays in the car park with transfer areas,
although the car park is busy at peak shopping times and on the Saturday evening when I last visited.
I've always found the food and service to be excellent at this restaurant.
